Mid March 2018 – Welcome to my new, not yet finished website. I am constantly working on the completion, and will add new articles on a regular basis.
The name Toyman comes from my fascination for toys, which means that for me passion definitely comes before business. Inspired also by the Muñeco / Futbolista of Geyper España (my logo), which I bought in October 2017 in the south of France from a charming older lady, whom I met in the doll museum of l’isle sur la Sorque.
Certainly my core interest is in Dinky Toys diecast models (priority of French origin) from the 30s to the 70s, but my fascination is all kinds of old toys, even those made of plastic or heavily used, if they are rare and authentic. I also like to give presents to children if it makes sense in connection with the model.
You can also find furniture, accessories and objects from the 40s to the 70s, with a preference for early plastic objects and for kitchen objects, kitchenelia, as the English say.
Personal information about me, how it came to my passion and thoughts about these topics will occasionally be found in the future menu “Blog”. You can find many categories in the menus, otherwise use the search function.
I have already listed over 150 articles, including Studebaker, Packard, Dodge, de Soto, American models from the mid 50s, some of which can be seen in the picture above. I will constantly add new models and articles.
